Among the many products we have to offer are:

Fuel Oil - also called Heating Oil. This product is used by oil fired heating systems in both forced air and boiler heating systems.

K1 - Kerosene is used for home heating and in portable heaters. There are two types of kerosene, Clear and Dyed (K1-Clear and K1-Dyed). K-1 Clear has a $.244 federal tax applied. K-1 Dyed is for non-highway or heating use only.

Gasoline - We provide high quality gasoline in 87 octane (referred to as Regular), 89 octane (referred to as Mid-Grade or Special), and/or 93 Octane (referred to as Super or Premium).

Diesel - Diesel has many levels of product. The standards established by the Environmental Protection Agency set forth specific sulfur content parameters and their intended use. We currently keep the following on hand and readily available.

Off Road "Low Sulfur" Diesel (also referred to as farm diesel) (or S500) contains a sulfur content less than 500 parts per million and is intended for use only off-highway. Off-Road Diesel is dyed to distinguish it from On-Road Fuel and Federal fines and penalties can be levied if found in the tanks of vehicles on the road.

On Road "Low Sulfur" Diesel (or S500) contains a sulfur content less than 500 parts per million and is intended for over the road use in vehicles manufactured in or prior to 2006.

Ultra-Low Sulfur: Diesel (or S15) contains a sulfur content of less than 15 parts per million and is intended for over the road use in vehicles manufactured in or after 2007.

Townsend currently supplies twenty plus locations with branded and un-branded fuel for resale. Townsend Energy has accounts established with Gulf, Exxon/Mobil, Sunoco, Conoco/Philips, Apex and United Refining among others.
