Townsend Oil began as a family business in LeRoy, New York, in 1922. As president and owner of Townsend Oil, we continue to keep the family tradition, never loosing sight of the customer. From the very beginning, Townsend Oil has provided heating fuels and lubricants to thousands of homes, businesses, farms and industries throughout Western New York.

Through years of expansion, we now are a total energy supplier of products such as kerosene, gasoline and propane. Our radio dispatched fleet consists of well-maintained delivery vehicles operated by long-time local employees who embrace the values of hard work, integrity and customer service.

In addition, we offer a full time service department that services and installs furnaces, boilers, fireplace inserts, room heaters and hot water tanks - 24 hours daily, 365 days a year. We are a growing, progressive company now serving 8 counties on a full-time basis. Each and every business transaction - large or small - we conduct with the act of fairness and reliability one would expect from a small business.
